ISO78xx Digital Isolators

Texas Instruments ISO78xx Digital Isolators are high-performance, dual-, triple-, or quad-channel digital isolators with 8000V_PK isolation voltage. These isolators provide high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions at low power consumption, while isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/O's. Each isolation channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by silicon dioxide (SiO₂) insulation barrier. In the event of input power or signal loss, default output is 'high' for each of these devices. Used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, these devices from Texas Instruments prevent noise currents on a data bus. They also prevent other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry.

These devices have reinforced isolation certifications according to VDE, CSA, and CQC. Each isolator provides high electromagnetic immunity. They also have low emissions at low power consumption, while isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/Os. Each isolation channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by silicon dioxide (SiO₂) insulation barrier. If the input power or signal is lost, default output is 'high' for the ISO7831 and 'low' for the ISO7831F device. Used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, this device prevents noise currents on a data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry.
